Good upcoming film “Shazam! Fury of the Gods”, which is set to release on 17th March. The film is currently on its promotional tour.

The actress was also in season two of the Amazon Prime Video series “Harlem”, which debuted on the streaming service on February 3 and had its season finale on February 24. Goode is part of the main cast of the series, which also includes Jerry Johnson, Grace Byers and Shonika Shandai. The show follows the story of four ambitious best friends navigating careers and relationships in New York City.

The Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards recognize Black women who are actors, directors, producers, screenwriters and showrunners who create work that honors the depth of Black women’s experiences. Sherrill Lee Ralph, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Tara Duncan, Dominic Thorne and Danielle Deadweiler were honored at this year’s awards ceremony. This year’s event was sponsored by Coca-Cola and Netflix’s “Queen Charlotte”.
