Manchester United return to domestic action with an FA Cup quarter-final against Fulham at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils defeated Real Betis 1-0 in Spain on Thursday night to secure a 5-1 aggregate win in their Europa League last 16 matchup, setting up a tie with their city rivals Sevilla in the next round.

Erik ten Hag’s side are without a victory in domestic action since they beat West Ham in the last round of the FA Cup – they have since lost 7-0 at rivals Liverpool and drawn 0-0 at home to rock-bottom Southampton in the Premier League.

Here’s the lineup Ten Hag could select to face the Whites this weekend.

GK: David De Gea – Despite his resurgent club form, De Gea has again been overlooked for the Spain squad by new boss Luis de la Fuente.

RB: Diogo Dalot – While the right-back role has been comfortably his for much of this season, Dalot is now facing a real battle with Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the starting spot.

CB: Raphael Varane – The veteran Frenchman was afforded a rest on Thursday, while his retirement from international football means he should be reinvigorated come April.

CB: Lisandro Martinez – ‘The Butcher’ was in the wars earlier this week and will be ready to do it all again on Sunday.

LB: Luke Shaw – Like Varane, did not feature in the win at Real Betis and should be sharp.

CM: Scott McTominay – With Casemiro out, McTominay is United’s last real physical option to play in midfield. With Joao Palhinha returning for Fulham, such a profile will be necessary to combat him.

CM: Marcel Sabitzer – Each passing 7/10 performance edges Sabitzer closer towards a permanent deal at United.

RM: Bruno Fernandes – While playing from the right isn’t an ideal situation for Fernandes, Antony is unlikely to return to the fold before the international break. Needs must.

AM: Jadon Sancho – Ten Hag has detailed why he sees Sancho as an option to play in the hole and this game serves as an opportune moment to demonstrate that.

LM: Marcus Rashford – Because who else is going to score the winner in this tie?

CF: Wout Weghorst – Just two goals in 17 games for United thus far. At least he tries hard.
