The TATA IPL 2023 is nearing and so is the excitement and enthusiasm of seeing the best cricketing action. However, with the decrease in the number of days remaining, there is an increase in the number of players who are injured. These are first-choice players or key players of their respective TATA IPL teams. The latest additions to the list are Jhye Richardson and Shreyas Iyer. David Warner was hit on the arm by Siraj.

David Warner is likely to miss the initial phase of the TATA IPL 2023. The reason is an injured arm. He injured his arm in the first test when batting against Mohammed Siraj. Siraj made sure that Warner gets a taste of the Australian medicine of short bowling. One of the balls took off from the pitch and hit Warner straight on the arm. Warner was evidently seen in pain. He couldn’t continue to bat and was taken off.

Shreyas Iyer is Likely to Miss the initial phase of the TATA IPL 2023 too. He complained of lower back pain in the 4th test match between India and Australia that resulted in a draw. Shreyas Iyer complained of lower back pain and was immediately sent for scans. The scan reports are not very promising and it is expected that Iyer will remain out of action for some time. He had recently completed an NCA-based rehabilitation program for the same issue. With that being said, the BCCI is now furious with the NMenon-ledn led NCA medical team. The reason for the same is the recurring injuries among players.
